Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to our customers' doorsteps, on-time and in great condition.
Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving safely in various locations and conditions.
Serving our customers brilliantly by supporting with questions and substitutions, and keeping them informed of any delays.
Building knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to provide recommendations.
When not delivering, assisting across the store as needed.
Being friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and providing the best doorstep experience.
Proficient in driving large vehicles in different locations, from busy streets to narrow country lanes, and delivering to various residential properties.
Enjoying working in a fast-paced, physical, high-energy environment, using initiative to solve problems independently but also thriving as part of a team.
Willing to work flexibly and productively across the store when needed, with opportunities to learn and develop new skills.
Comfortable learning to use new digital tools and technology, and capable of moving shopping containers up to 15KG.

Responsibilities:
Our stores are fast-paced environments where food is our passion. As a Home Delivery Driver, you'll be the key to delivering everything our online customers have shopped for at Sainsbury's.
Eligibility:
* You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
* You will complete an online driving risk assessment and a driving assessment if successful.
* You must have the Right to Work in the UK.
