Job description: Corporate Development – Financial Due Diligence Associate Manager Job Description Corporate Development – Financial Due Diligence Associate Manager plays a key role in Accenture’s inorganic growth strategies. Works closely with North America and Europe FDD teams, performing high quality diligence and analysis for acquisitions, joint venture, and equity investments. Focus on analyzing the quality of target company earnings, operating metrics, debt and debt-like items and net working capital, which may influence the outcome of the transaction. Review, analysis, and preparation of key financial documents from the virtual data room (data book, data pack) Perform key operating and financial analysis, attend target meetings, negotiation calls along with Europe and NA teams (whenever time zone permits). Assist North America and Europe FDD team in reviewing Share Purchase Agreements Working closely with regional financial due diligence team to provide advice to the corporate development team related to key deal issues impacting the business case and/or integration. Provide continuity/transition to the post-merger integration and operational finance teams post-closing. Coaching and reviewing the work of specialists and AMs Shift timings: Varies between 11am to 8pm and 9am to 6pm (Depending upon the deal) Basic Qualifications: Minimum 6 years’ experience in professional services or consulting in major accounting/financial firm Prior Financial due diligence experience is preferred. Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Qualifications: Supported multiple financial due diligence projects. CA/CPA/MBA/CFA (preferred) Professional Skills: This highly visible position requires exceptional drive and energy, strong financial and analytical skills, hands-on experience with mergers and acquisitions (including financial due diligence), project management skills, highly effective verbal and written communications skills and familiarity with merger and stock purchase agreements. Advanced financial analysis and Microsoft Excel skills Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
