Exclusive to TPF Recruitment - Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Maidstone. They are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant (Practice) to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally be studying the AAT, or be AAT qualified with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in practice, or qualified by experience. Within this position, the successful candidate will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their technical ability, and career while working with a supportive team around them. They will also be offered AAT/ ACCA/ ACA study support for the future, the opportunity to work a hybrid working pattern, and a highly competitive remuneration package. Our client services a range of local owner-managed businesses from sole traders, through to Ltd companies and partnerships.
* Preparation of, or support with bookkeeping and management accounts for a variety of clients
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Supporting with statutory accounts preparation
* Preparation of corporate tax, personal tax and CIS returns
* Supporting the directors with ad-hoc advisory work

Requirements
For this Assistant Accountant (Practice) position, you will be:
* You will be AAT qualified or part qualified, or qualified by experience
* You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
* Experience of cloud software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.

Additional Requirements
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice. Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
