What is the job role?
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to citizens within their own homes or familiar community settings. Your role will focus on enabling people to develop everyday living skills, build confidence, and engage more fully in their local community.
You will work with a caseload of individuals, tailoring support to meet their specific needs and goals. No two days will be the same, and your support may include:
1. Supporting engagement in community and social activities
2. Assisting with accessing benefits and services
3. Helping with shopping, cooking, and other daily living tasks
4. Supporting citizens to read, understand, and respond to correspondence
5. Encouraging independence and self-confidence in everyday activities
This role involves travelling across the Coventry area to provide support where it is needed.
Whilst our positions are open to all applicants, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role therefore all applicants must have a Right to Work in the UK.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
