An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College, seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Agriculture to teach on our Agricultural courses, including a Level 2 course in Farming and a Level 3 course in Farm Management.
The College boasts excellent facilities, including access to Forty Hall Farm, a mixed farm with various animals, rare breeds, a community orchard, a market garden, a farm shop, and London's only organic commercial vineyard.
The Lecturer in Agriculture will be responsible for teaching and assessing subjects such as machinery operations, crop establishment and production, plant and soil science, and livestock management.
The post holder will deliver high-quality teaching, prepare engaging lessons, set challenging goals, monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback, and demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors.
Applicants should possess relevant qualifications in agriculture or related fields. We welcome applications from experienced lecturers and industry professionals interested in sharing their skills.
