About The Opportunity
We have a new opportunity for a visionary Head of Product - Platform and AI Products to architect and lead the strategy for scalable, secure, and intelligent platform capabilities. This is a chance to set the direction for AI innovation that impacts every customer and product.
In this role, you will:
Define and own the multi-year strategy for platform and AI product development, from APIs and identity/auth to data pipelines and AI-powered conversational agents.
Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and commercial teams to bring new AI capabilities to life.
Build and lead a high-performing team of Product Managers.
Set clear success metrics, balancing foundational platform stability with breakthrough AI innovation.
Champion ethical AI, privacy, and security across all product decisions., Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing group of Product Managers focused on Platform, AI, and Core Services
AI Integration: Drive innovative AI-powered product features, collaborating closely with Data Science and Engineering
Scope: Shape and own multi-product, cross-functional platform and AI strategies that impact the entire organisation
Reporting To: Senior leadership including Chief Product Officer / CTO
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Commercial teams to deliver impactful products
Work Model: Flexible hybrid working with regular presence at Chester HQ
Proven leader of product teams in platform, infrastructure, or data, ideally in fast-scaling organisations.
Skilled in discovery, prioritisation, delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
Strong technical fluency with cloud-native platforms, APIs, and AI/ML products.
Experience launching AI-powered features like recommendation engines, automation, or conversational UX.
Clear communicator and trusted collaborator across teams.
Strategic mindset focused on outcomes balancing tech and business needs.
Knowledge of AI ethics, privacy, and security.
Hands-on, motivating leader who gets things done.
Your leadership will directly influence our ability to deliver AI-powered features, scale infrastructure, and embed intelligence into every layer of the business, shaping the future of every product and customer touchpoint.
