Belmont Recruitment are working in partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council, who are seeking an experienced and adaptable Interim Housing Operations Manager to join their Housing & Assets team. This is initially a 3-6 month temporary contract working 37 hours per week. You will play a key part in managing Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) operations, overseeing external contracts, and supporting the delivery of specialist projects while enabling lead officers to focus on strategic transformation. Key Responsibilities * Oversee day-to-day operations of DLO teams and external contractors. * Ensure compliance with housing standards and regulations, including Awabbs Law. * Collaborate with internal teams to review performance, identify efficiencies, and streamline processes. * Support strategic initiatives such as business case development, restructures, and service transformation. * Provide operational resilience and responsive service delivery during organisational change. * Contribute to high standards of service delivery for Wrexham’s contract holders.
