We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students in secondary schools across the Newport area. The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs
2. Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
3. Support students with a range of needs, including SEN, behavioural challenges, and learning difficulties
4. Help create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
5. Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar settings preferred)
6. A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
8. A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed
9. Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
