Firmin Recruit is excited to be working with our long-established manufacturing client based in the London, SE5 area. Due to business growth, our client is now recruiting for an experienced Print Engineer/Technician to join their friendly, hard-working team. The role will involve digitally printing onto my client’s engineering products, so this role would suit someone from a print background, and the successful candidate will need to have experience running a Roland High Speed Flatbed UV Printer or similar digital equipment. The Role * Create templates to enable selective printing * Loading templates and running Roland printing equipment * Maintain and clean all equipment regularly * Responsible for the inventory and organisation of all supplies * Assist other team members and managers to increase efficiency in job processes and production * Provide front counter assistance to internal customers as needed Suitable Candidate: * This role requires someone with digital printing experience * Experience using Roland High Speed Flatbed UV printing equipment or similar machinery is necessary. * Previous experience working within the print industry is essential * Attention to detail of work * Experience using Adobe Illustrator or other graphics programs * Computer skills must include Microsoft 365, Adobe * The successful candidate will need to be able to work a flexible schedule * Willingness to follow processes, safety standards, and policies Hours: 8 am – 4.30 pm Monday – Friday Benefits: Pension, 23 Days Holiday Bank Holidays, 2 x 15-minute paid breaks If you have the necessary skills and would like more information about this role, please send your CV.
