To promote and raise the profile of LeisureSK. Ensure the facility is managed in accordance with LeisureSK standards and always delivers an excellent level of service to customers. Support the team onsite and help develop team members.
* Ensure the facility is appropriately staffed to provide service excellence for the customer in accordance with the daily programme.
* Co-ordinate the timely setting up and setting down of equipment to ensure activities run smoothly.
* Circulate regularly amongst customers and team members to gain a better understanding of needs through feedback and dialogue.
* Organise team members' rotas and team member cover ensuring staffing levels match programme requirements.
* Authorise weekly timesheets against team rotas and signing in/out registers.
* Recruit, induct, train and develop team members for whom there is direct line responsibility.
* Monitor the cleaning programme daily and ensure it is in accordance with the cleaning specification.
* Ensure Health and Safety procedures are fully met on site, including participation in twice yearly refresher training.
* Complete daily building checks and record them in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
* Report and organise repair of any building or equipment fault following the quality management system.
* Conduct pool water tests and monitor pool water conditions, advising the management team of any action taken if conditions vary from the prescribed limits.
* Deal with all membership enquiries, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly membership targets are achieved.
* Co-ordinate swim school by signing children up to swimming lessons, dealing with payment queries and facilitating cancellations.
* Drive all lines of revenue by ensuring all facilities are open, safe and clean for customers to use.
