Within the Olympia destination, Hyatt Regency London Olympia will offer 204 bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, a welcoming lobby lounge and three meeting rooms, with direct connectivity to Pillar Hall and the International Convention Centre. Duties and responsibilities related to the Commis Chef role
* Develop and apply a variety of cooking techniques under the guidance of senior chefs.
* Contribute to meal preparation and service by completing tasks accurately, efficiently, and on time.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, ensuring tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use.
* Assist with receiving, checking, and storing ingredients and supplies, following correct stock rotation practices.
* Gain practical experience across different kitchen sections to build a strong foundation in culinary operations.
* Continue developing your skills and culinary knowledge while supporting the success of the kitchen team.
About You
You will have some previous experience in culinary operations, with the willingness to keep developing your skills and supporting the wider kitchen team. You bring a basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and a strong commitment to following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
