Educational qualifications / state registrations
Essential criteria
* The UK's Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) level 2 qualifications including Maths and English
Desirable criteria
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
* Understand the role of the dietitian.
* Interest of nutrition and health care.
* Previous experience working and communicating with the public
* Basic knowledge of some conditions that could impact nutrition and hydration in adults, relevant to the role.
* Good working knowledge of IT e.g., Microsoft word, power point, e-mail, and internet.
Desirable criteria
* Work experience in a healthcare setting with nutritional related tasks
Clinical Skills / Abilities
Essential criteria
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good organisational / planning / prioritisation skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Reliable and capable of working with confidential information.
* Commitment to ongoing continuous development, personal development, and appraisal.
* Able to adapt to working in different specialities and different environments e.g., hospital wards, outpatients.
