Join to apply for the Regional Member Engagement Manager role at RICS

Based in the relevant region (Hybrid – 60% office or region-facing, 40% remote working)

RICS is a global professional body working across land, property, construction, and infrastructure. With over 140,000 members in more than 140 countries, we’re part of a worldwide network committed to shaping better places and spaces – where people live, work, and connect.

Our work has real-world impact. We support professionals at every career stage through recognised qualifications, clear standards, and a focus on ethical, sustainable practice. Whether it’s helping communities thrive, supporting innovation in the built environment, or promoting the value of the profession, we’re proud to make a difference locally and globally.

As Regional Member Engagement Manager, you’ll help build and maintain a connected and inclusive member community within your region. Working closely with the Regional Board and internal colleagues, you’ll support the delivery of local engagement activities, events, and outreach initiatives that reflect the needs and interests of our members.

This is a varied and people-focused role, suited to someone who enjoys coordinating activities, supporting volunteers, and working with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll be involved in everything from responding to member queries and organising events to promoting the profession and supporting early careers initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Regional Board and help coordinate its activities, meetings, and contributions to regional goals.
* Collaborate with the Regional Lead and Business Development Manager to support the Regional Market Plan.
* Respond to member queries professionally and promptly, including candidates and counsellors.
* Help plan and deliver events that promote learning, networking, and community-building.
* Support outreach initiatives, including school visits and early careers programmes.
* Manage the region’s social media presence and share member stories and updates.
* Use feedback and data to help improve member experience and engagement.
* Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support regional activity.

You’re a confident communicator with a proactive approach and a genuine interest in supporting professional communities. You’re comfortable working independently, managing multiple tasks, and engaging with people from a variety of backgrounds and career stages.

This role would suit someone with experience in engagement, events, or community coordination—particularly within a professional or membership-based environment.

Key Qualifications

* Have experience in stakeholder engagement, community development, or membership environments.
* Can plan and deliver events or activities that engage a range of audiences.
* Communicate effectively across written, verbal, and digital channels.
* Are confident managing competing priorities and working independently.
* Are committed to inclusive practices and responsive to member needs.
* Use feedback and data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.

Benefits

* Annual leave starting at 25 days, increasing with service up to 32 days, plus paid office closure in between Christmas and New Year.
* Pension scheme with matched contributions up to 9% (Aviva).
* Comprehensive private medical insurance (Vitality), including access to lifestyle rewards.
* Income protection (Unum) and life assurance (Legal & General).
* Wellbeing and mental health support, including an Employee Assistance Programme.
* Professional development opportunities, including study support.
* Hybrid working and flexibility to support work–life balance.
* Cycle to work and season ticket loan schemes.

At RICS, we operate a 60/40 dynamic working model. This means up to 40% of your time can be spent working remotely, with the remaining 60% spent in member-facing settings, at a RICS office, or attending regional events and activities. We also welcome flexible working requests and provide support through our Reasonable Adjustments Policy where needed.
