They provide high-quality financial planning and advisory services with particular focus on accessibility of services, and closing the advice gap. They have also launched a digital application containing financial education resources, access to webinars and other interactive services. This is an exciting time to join the business ahead of the next phase of growth as the service is delivered to the market. To support this growth, they are now looking to add a Management Accountant to the team which will be an integral role in helping drive the continued success of the business.
Job Purpose:
The newly created Management Accountant role will have responsibility for the production of timely and accurate management information to support the SLT in business decision-making. This is a hands-on role that requires good technical accounting skills, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Hours: 9am – 5pm (Monday to Friday) with 45 mins for lunch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare Consolidated Monthly Management Accounts and Performance Pack (2 entities)
* Presenting results to SLT with insight to link financial and operational performance
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Full ownership of the budgeting and forecasting processes
* Cashflow forecasting
* Partnering with operational stakeholders to maximise value, manage spend and support in understanding of numbers
* Development of internal controls including implementation of technology to create efficiencies and a lean finance function
* Manage supplier invoices, employee expenses, and payment runs (Approx 1-2 days work across the month)
* Assist with FCA regulatory reporting and compliance
* Liaising with the external accountant, auditors, and other external stakeholders
Person Specification
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) – Late PQ will also be considered
* Strong Excel and presentation skills
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
* Proactive, commercially minded and passionate about a growth journey
* Experience working in practice, a financial services or other services business would be desirable
