About the role
The main tasks will be to support with:
1. The Rapid Evidence Assessment (REA), including sourcing, reviewing, and critically analysing relevant literature from a wide range of scholarly and policy/practice-related sources.
2. Constructing a sampling framework for the nationally representative survey, using local authority published data and lists.
3. Data collection via interviews with childminders.
4. Organising and coordinating childminder workshops.
5. Organising and conducting project and fieldwork research activities as required, including project team and stakeholder engagement meetings.
6. Synthesising and writing up the research results, including findings from the REA.
7. Engaging in research dissemination, engagement, and impact activities in collaboration with internal and external research partners and stakeholders.
The postholder will work closely with the Investigators and be part of a broader team with substantial expertise in early years education and systematic review methodological skills.
This post is open to current UCL employees only and is funded at ( hours per week) until February .
About you
You will have a postgraduate degree or recognised equivalent qualification in a subject relevant to the role in the social sciences, social policy, or education, with knowledge and training in evidence synthesis methods and research to at least a master’s level
You will also have knowledge of research methods and research methods training to at least master’s level
