The successful candidate will be required to provide pro-active support for customer shipments required on a daily basis and prioritise based on feedback from the Customer Care team.
Responsibilities
* Ensure finished goods products are processed on a daily basis and maintained
* Processing of all customer shipments on a daily basis
* Preparation of shipping documents and invoices
* Conduct regular cycle counts driven via company MRP system and ensure that results are reported to relevant parties (finance; customer services; planning)
* Ensure compliance with Aviation Security regulations for export control
* Contribute to lean initiatives in the dispatch area that form part of the continuous improvement agenda for Dispatch
* Ad hoc project work as required
* Ensure best practice Health & Safety are observed and applied at all times
Skills And Experience Required
* Previous experience in a Customer Services, Logistics / Finished Goods environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Computer literate in MS Office products
* Knowledge of export documentation, procedure and current legislation
* Team player
