About the Role
We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join our Asset Allocation team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting quantitative modelling and analysis across investment strategy, portfolio construction, and risk monitoring. Working closely with the Head of Asset Allocation and Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will help develop and maintain models that inform our strategic, dynamic, and tactical asset allocation views across the multi-asset universe.
This is a generalist position requiring broad knowledge of global multi-asset investments. You will also be responsible for maintaining attribution analysis of our multi-asset model portfolios and producing associated performance reports.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain proprietary quantitative models.
2. Update and manage dashboards to monitor portfolio exposures and performance.
3. Conduct factor analysis and portfolio analytics.
4. Drive automation and efficiency improvements across systems.
5. Ensure data integrity across all quantitative platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
6. 1–3 years of proven experience in multi-asset quantitative analysis, ideally within wealth or asset management.
7. Degree-level education with relevant industry-recognised professional qualifications.
8. Experience in quantitative modelling, preferably within financial markets.
9. Exposure to the financial industry through internships or work experience programmes.
10. Familiarity with financial databases such as Bloomberg or FactSet, or strong aptitude for learning new frameworks.
Knowledge & Skills
11. Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills to enhance in-house analytics.
12. Strong programming skills in Python (or similar transferable language).
13. Experience with browser-based dashboard tools (preferred).
14. Advanced Excel proficiency.
15. Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
16. Strong attention to detail and motivation to deliver high-quality work.
17. Understanding of multi-asset portfolios and economic theory.
18. Basic knowledge of the UK wealth management industry.
19. Clear and client-friendly communication skills, both written and verbal.
