Job Description
Streamline Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled 360 Grab Operator to join a well-established recycling company in Purfleet-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to secure stable, ongoing work with the potential to progress into a permanent position.
You will be part of a busy team responsible for keeping the site running smoothly, ensuring recycling processes are carried out safely and efficiently. Alongside grab work, you will also operate a Counterbalance Forklift and run the baler machine, giving you a varied and engaging role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. 360 Grab Operation: Load, move, and process a range of recyclable materials.
2. Counterbalance Forklift Driving: Transport pallets, bales, and materials across the site.
3. Baler Operation: Run and monitor the baler machine, ensuring materials are compacted to company standards.
4. Carry out daily equipment checks, reporting any faults or maintenance needs.
5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
6. Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure site targets and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
7. Valid 360 Excavator ticket with Grab attachment experience.
8. In-date Counterbalance Forklift licence.
9. Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or a similar heavy plant environment preferred.
10. Strong health & safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures.
11. Reliability, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to work.
