You will develop and nurture the effective working relationships required for excellent service delivery as a strategic partner to Scottish Government and Department of Justice NI, and sector partners, to provide high quality support to our clients. Role responsibilities Provide leadership, ownership and accountability for the day-to-day operational management of the service Point of escalation and support for Regional Managers Line management, supervision and appraisal of direct reports and oversight of staff, supervisory responsibilities for Regional Managers Co-ordination of strategic stakeholder engagement plan for both services Responsible for the recruitment, management and development of the two regional teams, ensuring high performing, highly motivated and engaged teams that will contribute to organisational success Working with the service Director to develop reliable longer-term forecasts of demand for service planning purposes Ensure compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements, and adherence to Migrant Help’s Policies and Procedures Lead contact for Migrant Help’s Quality Team for organisational or contractual audits and inspections, providing oversight of audit and quality monitoring activities undertaken by the modern-day slavery teams to implement actions, mitigations, recommendations and opportunities for improvement across the service within the agreed timescales Represent the organisation at regional and stakeholder meetings, maintaining our professional standing as a key strategic partner Responsible for coordinating management information, financial reporting, invoicing, audit/inspection requirements and ensuring these are completed accurately and within timescales Working with Migrant Help’s Involvement and Participation Manager to co-ordinate and implement service user engagement activities including a coproduction model of service development Working with the service Director to design, develop, implement and manage strategic plans and projects for modern day slavery services in line with the organisational strategy Lead on implementing organisational initiatives, projects and policies across the two regional modern day slavery services Support the service Director in the management and leadership of modern day slavery services The experience and skills you need Experience and understanding of working with external agencies and developing increased opportunities for service users Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team of managers. A demonstrable ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, including well developed report writing and presentation skills Ability to work in a timely fashion dealing with challenging and changing needs, prioritising work as necessary.
