RN / RSCN – Emergency Department (Permanent)
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RN / RSCN to join our cohesive Emergency Department team on a permanent basis as we begin a multi‑million transformation and expansion. If you are enthusiastic, motivated, a keen learner, innovative and forward‑thinking, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide emergency care to children and adults across Majors, Minors, EDAU and Resus clinical areas.
* Support patients with minor injuries, major trauma, medical and surgical emergencies and mental health conditions.
* Work collaboratively with a motivated team and exercise independent initiative.
* Participate in internal rotation for all ED staff.
* Engage in continuous professional development supported by a dedicated Clinical Practice Educator.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Specialist Care Navigator (RSCN) with a current nursing licence.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work quickly in a changing, high‑pressure environment.
* Flexible and resilient, capable of working day and night shifts.
* Commitment to maintaining high quality, compassionate care and to upholding the Trust’s culture of fairness and inclusion.
* Willingness to use AI tools responsibly; all application material must be truthful and reflective of your own experience.
Working Hours & Rotation
12.5‑hour shifts with a one‑hour break, day and night; internal rotation across the ED clinical areas.
