Joining our Roll Shop team as a turner youll play a crucial part in our production process by preparing, maintaining and operating the lathe machines that are used to roll our recycled steel. Youll be ensuring the correct program is used for the rolls required, set up tools correctly to ensure dimensional accuracy at the specification required.
Experience working in a hands on role is key. As youll be working on the lathe machinery, having a strong lathe fitter background will be essential. Experience of Fanuc controls would be desirable but not essential. Youll need to be self-motivated, someone who can work efficiently and often under pressure.
