Love that step up into KS2, where confidence grows and curiosity really takes off?
Year 3 is a big moment for pupils. New routines, new expectations, and plenty of “aha” moments along the way. If you enjoy guiding children through that transition but want more flexibility in your week, supply teaching could be just the fit.
We’re working with a range of welcoming primary schools across BS15 where classrooms are built on strong routines, supportive teams, and a real focus on helping every child feel capable and confident. You’ll step into environments where your experience is valued and your impact is felt from day one.
What your week could look like:
* Supporting pupils as they settle into KS2 expectations and routines
* Delivering engaging lessons that build independence and confidence
* Helping children tackle new challenges in maths, reading, and writing
* No long-term planning pressure, just great teaching and positive classroom moments
We’re looking for someone who:
* Understands the transition from KS1 into KS2 learning
* Brings energy, confidence, and a calm classroom presence
* Builds strong relationships quickly with pupils and staff
* Is flexible, reliable, and ready to step into different classrooms
What you’ll get with us:
* Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella hassle
* Flexible working, you choose your days
* FREE CPD, including Team Teach
* Friendly, honest support from people who know schools inside out
* Social events, think bowling and pizza nights
* £50 refer-a-friend bonus, easy win
Supply teaching in Year 3 is about more than covering a class. It’s about helping children find their footing in KS2, grow in confidence, and enjoy the challenge of learning something new, even if you’re only there for the day.
