Interim Senior Accountant
Camberley – 5-minute walk from the train or easy parking. 1-2 days in office. (Hybrid)

About the Role:
This is a high-impact interim opportunity in a multi-billion turnover business based in Camberley. They’re looking for a sharp Senior Accountant who can jump into the detail, bring structure, and support the wider finance team through a period of transformation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the month-end and year-end close process
* Own key areas of the balance sheet and ensure accurate reconciliations
* Assist with statutory accounting and audit prep
* Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
* Get stuck into system improvements and data integrity
* Build Excel-based reports and handle complex data sets
* Be the go-to person for accounting accuracy and financial hygiene
What You’ll Need:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
* Excellent financial accounting skills and a hands-on mindset
* Confidence to work independently and own tasks from start to finish
* Strong Excel and systems knowledge
The Ideal You:
* Practical, people-first, and detail-obsessed
* Likes a bit of mess – but loves cleaning it up more
* Based within reach of Camberley and happy to be onsite 2–3 days a week
£450–£500 per day. Immediate start. 3–6 months (with potential to extend).
