About the Volunteer Opportunity:
Are you passionate about connecting talented individuals with exciting career opportunities? Are you interested in making a meaningful impact in human resources? Join us as a Volunteer HR Recruiter to source, attract, and engage qualified candidates for our organization’s volunteer positions. Collaborate with Team Leads to understand recruitment needs and develop strategies to attract top talent.
Duration: 3 months (60 volunteer days)
* At least 3 hours per day
* Part-time
* Remote
Volunteer Activities:
* Work with our CEO and HR Team to create and execute recruitment strategies.
* Determine staffing needs and develop recruitment plans with Team Leads.
* Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, etc.).
* Review applications, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews.
* Maintain candidate records and assist in posting job ads.
* Ensure a positive candidate experience and stay updated on recruitment techniques.
* Provide updates to hiring teams on recruitment progress.
Requirements:
* Fluent in English (written and verbal).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Discretion with confidential information.
* Adaptability to recruitment needs.
* Teamwork and independent work capability.
* Availability of at least 10 hours per week.
* Comfort with remote work and online tools.
* Interest in HR and talent acquisition.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Prior HR or recruitment experience is desirable but not mandatory.
