Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a self employed Forklift Instructor to cover busy work loads, sick days and holidays, primarily based at our training school in Stroud / Gloucester. Will need to be able to travel to surrounding areas with some opportunities for remote work. The Forklift Instructor will be responsible for delivering RTITB comprehensive training programs, conducting assessments, and ensuring that all forklift operators meet safety standards. Other day-to-day tasks include maintaining training records, preparing instructional materials, and providing feedback to trainees. The role requires effective communication with trainees and consistent updates of training programs to align with industry standards.
Qualifications
* Experience in forklift operations and safety regulations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough assessments
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Certification as an RTITB Forklift Instructor or relevant qualifications
* Familiarity with warehouse equipment and technologies
* Proficiency in maintaining records and reporting
