An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our colorectal team as an Associate Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist. Working alongside the Band 7 colorectal CNS, you will provide high quality, evidence based care to patients with bowel cancer throughout their cancer treatment journey.

Qualifications
You will be a registered nurse with NMC registration, ideally with experience in colorectal nursing or a strong willingness to undertake the relevant competencies and training. You will have excellent communication skills as well as organisational skills and a passion to deliver patient‑centred care, supporting individuals through complex treatment pathways.
Key Responsibilities
* Support patients through diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up, ensuring holistic and compassionate care.
* Prepare cases for the colorectal multi‑disciplinary meetings (MDT), ensuring data completion and accuracy.
* Complete Macmillan holistic needs assessments and signpost patients to appropriate services.
* Collaborate with the wider MDT to optimise patient outcomes.
* Contribute to service development, initiatives and quality improvement.
* Provide education and training to patients, relatives and junior members of staff.
* Maintain professional standards, act as a role model and work collaboratively with MDT members.
* Provide specialist advice and support to ensure the delivery of high quality and efficient services.
