The Senior Test Manager is expected to lead and mentor a small team within a complex cloud project, driving innovation and best practices across multiple IT partners and teams.
This role requires hands-on expertise in the full testing lifecycle, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to proactively evaluate and improve QA processes and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, Agile methodologies, and both software and infrastructure testing, including non-functional testing.
Skills Required:
* Understanding of testing lifecycle from inception to production
* Team leadership
* Mentor test analysts and promote automation and other testing methods
* Impeccable communication skills as internal stakeholder management between technical teams will form part of this role
* Pro-active attitude in evaluating current QA landscape and proposing improvements, good process etc.
* Ability to produce Test Plans and associated QA documentation
* Good understanding of technical aspects of automation frameworks, and the use of ADO, Playwright.
* Experienced in CI/CD tools and pipeline integration
* Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and QA methodologies
* Deep understanding of working with multiple teams, with ability to represent QA in internal/external meetings
* Reporting test progress, outcomes and defects to project managers, stakeholders and line management
* Experience of Cloud based testing - desirable
* Experience of infrastructure - not just software - desirable
* Experience of Non-Functional testing - desirable
