Job Title: Mammographer (Bank Shifts)
Location: Bristol Bupa Health Centre, Bristol BS1 3LG
Salary: £27 per hour
Joining Bupa provides access to a state-of-the-art Clinical Training Facility, a centre for connected learning, care and careers as part of the Bupa Campus learning initiative.
Responsibilities
* Work as a Mammographer on bank shifts in the Bristol health centre, providing an efficient and effective mammography service as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Carry out screenings on-site on the day of health assessments to ensure a fast and efficient service from screening to treatment.
* Organise the daily work programme to ensure the department runs efficiently.
* Work flexible hours to accommodate changing workload patterns of the Mammography service.
* Perform high quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
* Ensure patients receive a very high standard of care and accurately analyse data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.
* Maintain equipment, uphold cleanliness, and report faults promptly; manage resources and stock control, liaising with manufacturers and suppliers.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* A flexible and adaptive working attitude; use initiative and focus on streamlining the patient pathway through the imaging department.
* Collaborate with the centre manager, Lead Mammographer and MDT to enhance the Breast imaging service.
* BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
* HCPC Registered
* Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography (essential)
