The Job: Position : HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver/Loader (permanent) Location : Oxford, Oxfordshire Schedule : Tuesday to Friday, 5:45am – 3:30pm (half-hour break) Hours : Minimum 37 hours per week Start Date : Immediate start available Pay : £17.00/hour PAYE Advanced What You’ll Be Doing: Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on local rounds Working as part of a team, assisting with loading when needed Providing a crucial public service – keeping Oxford clean and running smoothly Attending a short health & safety induction and driving assessment before starting What You’ll Need: ✅ HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence ✅ CPC card and Tachograph card ✅ Good level of fitness (some loading required) ✅ Strong communication skills and team spirit ✅ Able to provide solid references Experience in waste/recycling is a plus – but not essential Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply!
