Financial Accountant
£40,000 - £50,000 p.a
A growing and evolving business is investing heavily in strengthening its finance capability and is looking to hire an ambitious finance professional to support the transformation of its Financial Control function.

* Exposure to finance transformation initiatives
* Strong progression opportunities within a scaling finance team
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the month-end close process
* Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
* Balance sheet ownership and control
* Assisting with audits and maintaining strong financial controls
* VAT returns and wider tax support
* Supporting ongoing finance transformation projects
* Working closely with stakeholders across finance
What they’re looking for:
AAT Qualified or ACA/ACCA studier
Minimum 3 years’ experience within financial accounting/financial control
Strong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience
Previous exposure to audit processes
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and controls
