About Role

Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee clinical standards, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery
* Support the General Manager in the overall leadership and performance of the care home
* Inspire, manage, and develop a multidisciplinary clinical and care team
* Monitor compliance through audits, supervised practice, and regulatory checks
* Lead safeguarding processes, clinical risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
* Support workforce planning, mentoring, and preceptorship for newly qualified nurses
* Contribute to strategic planning, budget awareness, and operational performance
* Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person‑centred care for all residents
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN or RMN) with current NMC registration
* Recognised teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification
* Proven experience managing complex clinical needs in a care or healthcare setting
* Demonstrated experience in safeguarding, clinical governance, and risk managementStrong leadership, people management, and communication skills
* Basic understanding of HR processes, budget management, and performance management
* Resilient, compassionate, and highly organised leadership style
