Job Description
An established international business services provider is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its UK finance team. Operating in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, the organisation delivers specialist financial and operational services that support clients across the entertainment industry, spanning a wide range of productions and projects. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative finance function where accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement are integral to success.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and overseeing essential operational finance processes. This position is well-suited to a self‑motivated finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces responsibility. Candidates will ideally hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), although highly experienced individuals who are qualified by experience will also be considered.The role offers hybrid working, with an expectation of three days per week in the office. A greater on‑site presence will be required during the initial onboarding period to support learning, integration and knowledge transfer.Key Responsibilities
3. Support month‑end close activities, including preparation of accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue schedules
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis and variance reporting
5. Prepare quarterly VAT returns
6. Support statutory account preparations and respond to audit queries
7. Contribute to the UK capitalisation process, including quarterly true‑up calculations
8. Oversee client payment processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
9. Maintain accurate financial data within Oracle and reconcile client liabilities
10. Perform daily bank reconciliations across the portfolio
11. Manage and maintain the weekly finance data analytics dashboard
12. Collaborate with AP and AR teams, including participation in supplier payment runs
13. Identify process improvements and support operational efficiencies across the finance team

Candidate Specification
14. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience with a strong track record
15. Solid experience in preparing management accounts and supporting the month‑end close
16. Exceptional attention to detail and strong deadline management skills
17. Advanced systems capability; Oracle experience is highly advantageous
18. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
19. A logical, driven self‑starter who remains composed and effective in a fast‑moving environment
