Workday System Administrator

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + Package
We are seeking a Workday System Administrator to take ownership of our Workday platform and play a pivotal role in optimising HR systems across a growing international business. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys both the detail of day-to-day administration and the challenge of delivering continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Workday across HCM, Recruitment, Absence, Time Tracking, and Talent.
2. Provide first-line support for Workday queries, tickets, and user issues.
3. Manage role-based security and ensure compliance with GDPR and data governance.
4. Coordinate with external AMS providers, managing escalations, enhancements, and agile delivery cycles.
5. Lead on configuration and optimisation, implementing process changes, automation, and new functionality.
6. Support Workday release management, including testing, stakeholder communication, and change adoption.
