Tasks and Qualifications:
Principal Accountabilities
* Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals
* Undertake scheduled repairs according to manufacturer recommendations and industry standards
* Diagnose Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and perform repairs
* Prioritise system faults
* Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
* Ensure quality of output at all times
* Accurately record all work undertaken
* Participate in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
* Maintain product flow at all times
* Keep on-site spares at optimum levels
* Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations
* Adhere to the company's Quality processes and procedures
Knowledge & Experience Required
* ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
* Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic manuals & drawings
* Basic understanding of control systems and techniques
* Basic understanding of PLC equipment
* Experience working at height
* Experience with conveyor systems
* PC literacy
* Knowledge of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
* Understanding of FEM and BS standards in automated warehouse industry
