Interpret medical evidence and gather your findings into a comprehensive report, to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
You must have at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience and UK experience is essential.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency is a must-have.

Responsibilities
* As a Disability Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of claimants who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit, as part of the DWP’s Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
* Complete assessments with individuals who have an extremely broad range of health conditions, including the opportunity to conduct some assessments remotely.
* Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to inform decision-making by the DWP.
* Participate in an in-depth training programme (fully paid) to feel fully equipped for the role, with the role counting towards clinical hours to maintain registration.
Qualifications
* Qualified Occupational Therapist.
* At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and IT competency.
* Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback.
