Let’s make a difference together About the Role As a result of significant new business wins, CYFOR Forensics are looking for a strategic, hands-on Operations Manager, ready to make their mark in a fast-paced, ISO17025 & FSR Codes focused, digital forensics environment. Dynamic and proactive, this pivotal leadership role will look to maximise performance, streamline workflows and ensure Digital forensic services are delivered efficiently, reliably and to a high standard. You’ll take ownership of planning, coordinating, and monitoring digital forensic casework across Criminal Defence, Prosecution and Corporate Forensic functions, spanning our Manchester and Leicester sites. Working closely with the Forensic technical teams, Case management team, Digital Forensic Technical Manager, Quality team and the C-Suite, you’ll align resources with priorities, ensuring smooth & timely communication between all parties, managing expectations and achieving deadlines. In additional you’ll manage the evidence & logistics and submissions officers Most importantly you’ll drive performance, hit targets, and champion continuous improvement across systems and processes. Security Clearance This role requires NPPV3 clearance and SC-level national security clearance. Applicants must be British nationals and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years (exemptions apply for diplomatic service or study abroad). If you don’t already hold SC clearance, please familiarise yourself with the vetting process before applying. Key Responsibilities Assign and prioritise cases for investigators, examiners, and technicians. Track progress and maintain clear communication to meet deadlines and service level targets. Identify and mitigate operational risks while driving performance to meet KPIs. Provide daily caseload and capacity updates (volume and value). Ensure Salesforce tasks are completed daily, including time logs and quote support. Identify and lead continuous improvement projects for efficiency and effectiveness. Manage onboarding, CRM Training and abstractions for the Digital Forensics team. Support Commercial, Technical, and Management teams with operational insight. Produce weekly and monthly performance reports for the Board. Collaborate with Quality to uphold ISO standards and ensure audit readiness. Manage the Evidence & Logistics team and associated processes. Balance ISO17025 compliance with client requirements. Foster colleague well-being in a sensitive, high-pressure environment. Assist the C-Suite in capacity development, future-proofing and automation. Lead by example—professionalism is key. What We're Looking For At least five years’ relevant experience in a hands-on leadership role. Proven track record in change management and process improvement. Experience managing technical teams in a regulated environment. Strong customer focus with a flexible and proactive, solutions-driven attitude. Analytical mindset, using data to drive decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Confident and persuasive, with the ability to inspire trust and respect. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Experience with CRM/case management systems and producing Board reports. Familiarity with working in audited and accreditation environments. Willingness to travel Desirable Skills & Experience Previous experience in a forensic environment. Knowledge of ISO17025:2017 and ISO27001. Understanding of digital forensic workflows and tools. Experience leading automation projects.
