Black Country Women’s Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands, providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking. Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, court support, individual and group support and a range of therapeutic interventions, all client‑ and needs‑led.
Location & Team
This position is located within the West Midlands Stalking Service.
The BCWA West Midlands Stalking Service offers specialist stalking and harassment advisory and support across the West Midlands area, covering Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and the Black Country. The service provides emotional and practical support, safety advice and advocacy through the criminal justice system within a multi‑agency framework, ensuring victims of stalking feel supported and empowered.
Job Title
Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker (ISAC) – 1 full‑time position (37.5 hours) based across the Black Country.
Salary and Closing Date
Salary: £23,809.50 – £25,838.68 (depending on experience). Closing date: 28 November 2025.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality service, managing a caseload of high‑risk domestic abuse victims experiencing stalking from an ex‑intimate partner.
* Use evidence‑based methods to identify risk, stalking typology and support needs.
* Provide practical guidance and safety advice to those experiencing harassment and stalking.
* Refer to relevant agencies and participate in the Multi‑agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).
* Assist with awareness‑raising campaigns, training and events.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of frontline working and managing a caseload, including risk assessments, needs assessments and support planning.
* Understanding of safeguarding principles for children and adults and awareness of the dynamics of domestic abuse and stalking.
* Training in ISAC may be provided for the right candidate.
* Self‑driven, conscientious, hardworking with ambition.
