Sage Procurement’s purpose is “to create value across a sustainable supply chain” and our ambition is to be trusted and valued business partners. The team is accountable for strategic sourcing for spend across IT & Product, Marketing and Corporate categories.
The Procurement Manager is accountable for supporting the delivery of specific, IT & Product spend sub-categories across the Sage Group, which may include Apps & Platforms, Security, IT Operations, and End Computer Computing.
This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in our Newcastle office.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will play a key part in developing and delivering category strategies by analyzing internal requirements and supply markets to identify suppliers capable of meeting long-term business needs. You’ll conduct opportunity assessments to add incremental value to category strategies and sourcing activities, support the deployment of agreed sourcing approaches—including leading RFPs within assigned sub-categories—and carry out supplier bid evaluations and selection processes. Collaboration with the Sage Legal team is essential to negotiate commercially robust contracts that protect Sage’s interests and create value.
