We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our busy Conveyancing department. This role involves providing high-quality administrative support to our lawyers, enabling them to focus on more technical legal matters. You will play a key part in maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to a positive and professional working environment. Key Responsibilities: Handling client enquiries and preparing straightforward legal documents Typing correspondence, managing files, and ordering searches and Land Registry documents Preparing files for billing and screening incoming calls Sorting and prioritising post, emails, and messages Providing reception cover and liaising with clients and third parties Upholding LEXCEL standards and Law Society requirements Understanding basic Solicitors Accounts Rules relating to client monies Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience in legal work Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong administrative abilities and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Collaborative approach and sound decision-making skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems Flexible, organised, and able to manage a varied workload Desirable: Background in conveyancing Experience within a busy legal team Please apply today this role is working for a friendly and supportive Law firm, offering excellent benefits, career development and progression - please apply today!
