Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking an Project Manager to lead discrete project packages and smaller standalone projects across electrical and energy infrastructure programmes. This role is suited to professionals who can manage NEC contracts, drive programme delivery, and provide confident technical and commercial leadership within multi‑disciplinary teams. You will operate with a high level of autonomy while having access to wider technical, commercial, and project controls expertise across our expanding Energy & Natural Resources division. Candidates will be required to be present in our client office in Glasgow or Perth for 2/3 days per week. Job Objectives As an experienced Project Managers are responsible for delivering their own workstreams or project packages, ensuring alignment with client objectives, governance requirements, and technical standards across the full project lifecycle. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for: Lead NEC contract administration (Options A, C, E), managing change control, early warnings, compensation events, and contractor performance across design, early works, and construction. Oversee design development and technical approvals, coordinating engineering inputs and ensuring alignment with project specifications and electrical infrastructure standards. Manage construction delivery, ensuring adherence to programme, quality, safety, environmental requirements, and client governance processes. Drive programme performance, proactively identifying risks, implementing mitigations, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Lead stakeholder engagement, maintaining strong relationships across engineering, commercial, environmental, consenting, contractor, and client teams. Prepare and deliver reporting, including progress updates, dashboards, risk summaries, and commercial/contractual status reports. Coordinate technical interfaces with electrical engineering and system planning teams across HV/LV, OHL, UGC, and substation disciplines. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, processes, permits, and approvals throughout design and construction phases.
