The Role
As a Client Engineer, you’ll design, build, and deliver the web and mobile experiences that connect our customers to Suits Me’s financial products and services. Working with React, React Native, and TypeScript, you’ll create performant, accessible, and secure applications that run seamlessly across Apple, Android, and web platforms.
You’ll collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to craft intuitive, consistent, and compliant user experiences that support onboarding, payments, cards, and account management, all built with a focus on reliability, privacy, and scalability.

What you’ll be doing
* Building and maintaining web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript
* Delivering high-quality user interfaces that work consistently across devices and platforms
* Implementing new features and improvements for customer journeys such as onboarding, payments, and account management
* Integrating with backend APIs and working closely with backend teams to define data contracts and optimise performance
* Ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and compliance with FCA and Mastercard digital security standards
* Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality and reliability
* Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and regular pairing sessions
* Collaborating with Product, Design, Platform, and Security teams to deliver secure, performant, and maintainable apps
* Supporting build and release pipelines for web and mobile platforms (GitHub Actions, App Store, Google Play)
* Contributing to our design system and component libraries to drive consistency and reuse across platforms
What you’ll bring to Suits Me
* Strong TypeScript and JavaScript experience
* Experience building applications with React and React Native
* Familiarity with mobile app deployment and lifecycle management (App Store, Google Play)
* Understanding of HTTP APIs, authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT), and secure data handling
* Experience with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for web and mobile apps
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to collaborate
* Curiosity about fintech, digital identity, and secure app design

* Be comfortable working with React Native bridges, native modules, and device APIs
