Job Title: Radiographic Aide
We are seeking a dedicated radiographic aide to join our friendly team in the radiology department at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. The Christie is a renowned centre of excellence and the North West Regional Radiotherapy and Oncology Centre. With a proud 100-year history, we are committed to investing in and developing our staff to continue providing the highest quality care and treatment.
About the Department
The Radiology department serves over 50,000 patients annually, offering services such as general radiology, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology.
Role Responsibilities
* Support radiographers in patient care within the Radiology department.
* Undertake questionnaires, administer oral contrast, and cannulate patients prior to examinations.
* Chaperone patients and set up sterile trolleys for interventional procedures.
* Participate in extended working hours, including occasional weekends, with flexibility.
Candidate Requirements
* Good communication skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to high-quality service.
* Hardworking, team-oriented, and able to use own initiative.
* No previous experience required for some elements; training will be provided.
