CNC Field Service Engineer
Location: Midlands / North West / North (Regional Coverage)
Salary: £38,000 £42,000 Door-to-Door Overtime Company Car
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected machine tool company supporting customers across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join a business offering strong earning potential, varied work, and long-term stability.
The Role CNC Field Service Engineer:
As a CNC Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and installing CNC machine tools at customer sites across the UK.
Typical responsibilities include:
Fault finding and diagnostics on CNC machinery
Mechanical or electrical repair work depending on your bias
Installation and commissioning of machines
Preventative maintenance and servicing
Working on lathes and machining centres
Mechanical CNC Field Service Engineer experience may include:
Ball screw and linear guide replacement
Spindle rebuilds and alignments
Machine geometry and installation work
Electrical CNC Field Service Engineer experience may include:
Fault finding on drives, controls and circuits
Use of diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
Working with Fanuc or Okuma controls

The Candidate:
Experience working as a CNC Field Service Engineer or CNC Maintenance Engineer
Mechanical or electrical qualifications
Experience working with CNC machine tools (lathes/machining centres)
Comfortable with travel and a flexible schedule
