A growing nationwide business is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to support the Finance Director and work with other members of the financial/commercial team. The company holds multiple contracts with National Highways and other major clients to provide landscape maintenance on the UK's highways. This includes verge maintenance and grass cutting, arboriculture, ash die back management, ecology and environmental consultancy work. The head office central functions are based in Presteigne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts receivable, including processing invoices onto a financial package (NetSuite), assisting with month-end routines and supporting audit preparations.

The Presteigne team offers a small, friendly and supportive office atmosphere that underpins the business and has a key role in the company’s expansion plans.


Candidates should have/be

* Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance role
* Familiar with accounting software systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including a high level of Excel knowledge
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
* Effective team player who can also work independently
* AAT Level 2 or similar recognised accounting qualification
