About the Role
At LEON, we believe in serving food that not only tastes good but does good. We’re on the lookout for a passionate and reliable Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team in one of our London retail food stores.
Key Responsibilities
* Be Kind
o Create magical experiences for customers and team members

o Ensure all team members receive a thorough induction and training
o Motivate and engage the team with daily briefs and weekly management meetings
o Lead shifts and ensure the right staffing for excellent customer experience
* Operational
o Maintain food service quality to LEON standards
o Uphold standards in presentation and cleanliness
o Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and licensing regulations
o Secure the premises, cash and stock
o Undertake weekly stock takes and monitor maintenance needs
* Financial
o Optimise profitability through sales and margin control
o Deliver on sales and EBITDA targets
o Report accurate purchase and wage costs weekly
o Complete all paperwork as per LEON procedures
o Keep costs within budget and support planning for sales/profitability
o Update maintenance records on LEON SharePoint
* Live and Eat Well
o Have a passion for food and learning more about it
o Share knowledge and take initiative to get things done
o Care about doing things the right way and pay attention to detail
o Look after personal wellbeing and encourage others to do the same
o Build positive relationships and engage with the local community
o Be authentic and not bound by convention
