MEP Designer London Full-Time Hybrid/Flexible £40,000 to £60,000 DOE Are you a proactive MEP Designer with a passion for delivering efficient, integrated building systems? Attega Group are recruiting for someone to join our client who is a specialist in complex, fast-paced Design & Build projects across healthcare, laboratory, and modular environments. We’re seeking an experienced MEP professional who can bring innovative thinking, technical excellence, and strong coordination skills to our growing team. Key Responsibilities Design and develop MEP systems including HVAC, power, lighting, fire alarms, plumbing, and drainage. Produce schematic diagrams, technical layouts, calculations, and specifications to meet project briefs and regulations. Work closely with architectural, structural, and construction teams to deliver fully coordinated building services. Contribute to planning applications, tender documentation, and detailed construction packages. Participate in value engineering exercises, buildability reviews, and technical assessments. Provide support during procurement, subcontractor coordination, and installation phases. Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and sustainability standards such as BREEAM and Part L. Use Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM360 for design and clash detection in a collaborative environment. Review subcontractor/shop drawings and assist with commissioning and site-based technical issues. Required Qualifications & Skills Degree or HND/HNC in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field. 3 years' experience in MEP design, ideally within a Design & Build setting. Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and familiar with BIM Level 2 workflows. Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with strong cross-discipline coordination capabilities. Desirable Experience in modular/offsite or fast-track construction projects. Familiarity with Smart Building technologies, energy modelling, or low-carbon system design. CSCS card and on-site experience a plus. Working knowledge of commissioning procedures and site support.
