We are pleased to announce that we are seeking two Navigators to work within our Housing First team. The Bridge Project has been providing support since 1983. We work with individuals, families and communities to improve people\'s lives in a sustainable way, recognising that solutions are often complex. Today we have a strong staff team of 110 dedicated individuals. If you would like to join our team, we would love to hear from you.

Housing First has proven success in supporting people with multiple needs and vulnerabilities to maintain housing. The main premise is that an individual should not need to prove they are ready for housing and is instead given a permanent offer of their own home, along with an intensive long-term support package to enable them to maintain it. Housing First is delivered as a partnership between Bradford Council and the Bridge Project.

We are looking for someone who is qualified to Social Care Level 3 or equivalent or qualified through appropriate life or job experience along with at least 1 years\' experience of delivering advice or support in health, social care, homelessness or an offender service setting in the last 3 years. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a supportive team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained, whilst applying your knowledge and understanding of trauma informed care approaches.

Most of all, you will place individuals at the heart of your interactions, with the ability to build up a rapport and trust, with personal skills around warmth, compassion, empathy and resilience with a desire to help people and get things done. Often situations can sometimes be difficult and challenging so you will need to be non-judgemental with a good understanding of the needs of chronically excluded and vulnerable people.

It is essential that the successful candidate has a driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance, in order to transport clients in connection with the role. A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check is also a requirement of the post.

As well as a rewarding career, in return we can offer a competitive salary, 4% pension contribution, excellent annual leave entitlement, an L&D programme, employee assistance scheme, life insurance and a programme of mindfulness activities for staff. The Bridge Project is a Mindful Employer.

If you would like to have an informal conversation about the role, please contact Angela Berthebaud, Service Manager.

You must complete the Bridge Project\'s application form in order to be considered for the role. The application form plays a key part in our recruitment and selection process. We use the information you provide about your skills, experience, career and education history to decide whether or not to invite you for an interview. It is important that you complete the application form as fully and accurately as possible, ensuring that you give specific examples which demonstrate how you meet the criteria.

No CVs are accepted. No Employment Agencies please.

The closing date is 8.00 am on Monday 13 October 2025

Shortlisting will take place on Monday 13 October 2025

Interview will be held on Monday 20 October 2025

The above post is not a Leeds City Council vacancy and has been advertised on behalf of the relevant organisation. To apply please follow their application instructions.
