Contract: Temp to Perm

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 DOE
hours: 40 Hours Per Week | Early Finish Fridays
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 & Friday: 08:00 - 14:00Our client, a well-established and internationally recognised engineering business based in Doncaster, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis.

The Role
Working primarily from the workshop facility in Old Denaby, you will be involved in the build, testing, installation, and commissioning of specialist machinery and equipment.
Duties will include:
Mechanical build and assembly of industrial machinery
Assisting with mechanical design input
Pneumatic design and panel/machine build work
Small fabrication duties including welding, burning, and drilling
Machine testing and fault finding
Installation and commissioning work both in the UK and overseasCandidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
Strong mechanical engineering and pneumatics experience
Knowledge of transmission drive assemblies
Experience working with structural assemblies
Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge (desirable)
A hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills
Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally when requiredQualifications
BTEC Mechanical Engineering to HNC level or equivalentInternational travel may be required for approximately 6 weeks per year, depending on project locations.
