Availability window: Days and times are as follows. The schedule will be published in advance with 3 weeks' notice for shifts. We support flexible working where possible.
Pay: Our Skilled Baker rate of pay starts from £13.38 an hour; this increases to £14.59 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It\'s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you prefer to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities available and would love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Baking in waves for scratch products to provide fresh products throughout the day, minimise waste, and maintain yield for quality.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Adhering to all food hygiene, safety and allergen guidelines at all times
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the department and store products/services
* Applying training to work safely and effectively while serving customers brilliantly
* Checking emergency stop buttons and machinery safety before operation and reporting next steps to the Shift Leader/Team Manager
* Disposing of waste responsibly and following waste/recycling routines
* Understanding store performance and your part in driving service, sales, reducing waste and shrinkage, and delivering profit
* Representing Tesco values and following policies
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required
You will need
