SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SENCO to join a lovely primary school to lead the provision for pupils with additional needs. This truly is a lovely school with a very supportive leadership team. Immediate start date available, working on a long-term contract with opportunities to progress.
As SENCO, you will:
* Oversee and coordinate SEND provision across the school.
* Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils with SEND receive the support they need to thrive.
* Lead on the development of inclusive teaching practices and provide guidance and training to colleagues.
* Monitor and track the progress of pupils with SEND, ensuring interventions and support are effective.
* Be a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the school’s strategic development.
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete within 3 years of appointment).
* A strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and experience supporting pupils with a range of needs.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.
